The location was perfect and the views of the English Channel and France were spectacular.
The stairs to the 5th floor. No lift available. On the bright side my exercise app gave me extra credit for flights of stairs walked up.

Amazing views from property , area really lovely lots of things to see within walking distance we didn’t have to take the car out for the 3 days we were there. Very relaxing and Folkestone is very pretty .

The views are stunning. We were fortunate to have a stunning weekend of weather, which always helps. The position on the Leas is brilliant, for walks to Sandgate or into Folkestone, where there is a great selection of restai=urants and shops.
A particular concern was the state of the shower. It is small, it is old, a wheel fell off the doors (replaced), it could do with a deep clean, and the shower head was a disaster - spraying in all directions until a degree of control was achieved. To be honest, it is below standard and should be replaced. Furniture and fitting adequate - but dated. Some people would be daunted by the many steps to the top floor.
