Our vacation home in Bad Reichenhall is located in the quiet Staufenbrücke neighborhood, right next to the beautiful Saalachau. This Alpine town is surrounded by a stunning mountain landscape that offers a wide variety of recreational activities. In the neighborhood, you’ll find a small bakery where you can pick up your breakfast rolls. There’s a children’s playground, a large play area, and a soccer field. The city bus stops just a minute’s walk away. The train station and the city center are about 2 km away and can be reached in 5 minutes by car or public transportation. You can use public transportation free of charge throughout the entire district with your guest card. Heading toward downtown, you’ll find plenty of stores to take care of your shopping. At the weekly market on Reichenhall’s Rathausplatz, you can buy fresh regional produce every Friday morning.
Welcome to the Saalachau vacation home! Renovated in 2024, this vacation home is furnished with great attention to detail, fully equipped, and offers plenty of space and comfort for a relaxing getaway. You can access the private entrance via the cottage’s own partially covered terrace with a mountain view. Here, you can enjoy a cozy cup of coffee, soak up the sun, or wind down after a lovely outing. The spacious living room features a large dining table, a comfortable couch, and a flat-screen TV with satellite reception. The large bedroom, with a cozy double bed (200 x 200 cm), soft blankets, and blackout curtains, is the perfect place to dream and relax. Another bedroom features two single beds (90 x 200 cm). Two extra beds (80 x 200 cm) in the living room can be used for children or teenagers. A well-equipped, modern country-style kitchen with a dining area offers everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. Feel free to use the herbs on the terrace for cooking. The modern bathroom with a shower and toilet rounds out the vacation rental. The real wood furniture creates a rustic, natural ambiance with a cozy atmosphere. The vacation home is equipped with underfloor heating, a ventilation system, and free Wi-Fi. A travel crib and high chairs are available upon request. On hot summer days, a refreshing swim in the clear waters of Lake Thum or at our beautiful outdoor pool “Bachei” is the perfect way to cool off. Stroll through the charming old town and the royal spa gardens of Bad Reichenhall. Take the train up to the Predigtstuhl and enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains. A visit to the Park-Kino, the RupertusTherme, or the Alte Saline are just a few of the many ways to spend the day, even when it’s raining. Discover the diverse attractions in the Berchtesgadener Land region, even in winter. Hikes and ski tours through the snow-covered winter landscape have their own special charm. Cross-country skiing, sledding, or downhill skiing as the snow glistens in the sun. Enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere at the Christmas markets. Perfect for an unforgettable vacation!
