Home From Home Stay

The cleanliness and all facilities filled our needs, and the position was ideal for the BIC where we were attending a convention It had everything you could possibly need for a few days break, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, towels were an added bonus It's definitely a home from home.

It is only a minor thing : An info book for the area would be useful. Also, an info book for the TV would be helpful as the TV only seemed to show restrictive programmes as it is only tuned into the LG guide. I couldn't find any sky, freeview or other digital service. It may have been my incapability of understanding technology as the owner did explain when I asked about it. So perhaps written info might be useful

Amazing!

It was clean upon entry. Everything looked exactly like the photos provided. It is literally 2 minutes (could possibly be even less) walk to the beach and the to the attractions i.e. the arcade. The owner was very polite and was flexible about our time arrangements via WhatsApp.

Great stay in central location

The location is perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and other amenities. The host is very welcoming and friendly, responds quickly to requests, and does their best to resolve any issues. Thanks for this! The apartment itself is freshly renovated and looks great. Bournemouth is a beautiful town with lots to see and do and we really enjoyed our stay.

While the location is very central, it was quite noisy—especially at night. The apartment is in an older building with original windows that don’t close tightly enough to block out the noise. The key to the building’s entrance door kept getting stuck, and we had to jiggle it several times to get the door open. It would also be helpful to have a drying rack. The washing machine has a wash-and-dry cycle, but if you just need to dry a few items, there aren’t many options. One other thing to note: the boiler is located in the bedroom wardrobe, which is a bit unusual. It can be a bit noisy when in use.

The stay was perfect for a beach and city break.

The property had everything we needed. Maybe just some bedding for the sofa would have been nice as my son and daughter are too old to share a room. The host was very accommodating and helpful.

Parking was a bit of a problem as we had to keep moving the car. The cheap car park only allowed 24 hour stay and other carparks were more pricey.

It is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach. It was clean and well maintained. The appliances and facilities were all modern and well kept. The staff were friendly, they gave us an hour later departure time without any additional fees. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely apartment and very clean with every amenities and close to the beach.

Fantastic apartment spotlessly clean and every comfort and decor was beautiful. It was useful to have a lift in the building for luggage etc..

We couldn’t find the lock box for the key until a resident was able to show us. We noticed rubbish around the building and the inside of the building going to the apartment needed cleaning.

I would recommend this property and return. It was very modern and clean and comfortable.

The property is very modern and clean. Tea coffee facilities provided. The only issue is it is on the road and was quite noisy with traffic and locals coming back from evening out. No parking facilities.

Eher enttäuscht als begeistert

Strandnähe, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten; Vielfältigkeit, ein schöner Park in der Nähe, ein gutes italienisches Restaurant gleich um die Ecke und ein paar hübsche Cafes.

Eine modern eingerichtete Wohnung in einem alten, hellhörigen Haus. Die Eingangstüren knallten zu, dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Im kleinen Gang war ein unangenehmer Geruch aus den Nachbarschaftswohnungen. Kein ruhiger Ort - Autos, Busse etc. Ein Treffpunkt am Abend für viele, die mit Alkohol eng befreundet sind und gern herumschreien. Es gab notwendige Sachen in der Küche - vielen Dank. Die Zimmer sind in der Wohnung sehr eng. Für eine 5-köpfige Familie (2 Erwachsene und 3 Jugendliche im Alter zwischen 13 und 21) ist diese Wohnung definitiv zu klein. Ein Bettwäscheset hat gefehlt, haben selbst eine Notfalllösung gefunden. Die Badetücher waren alt und abgenutzt. Das Schliessfach war mühsam zu finden, die Infos waren nicht genau, wo das Schliessfach ist - es war am Anfang ein lustiges Detektivspiel. Der Vermieter hat sich etwas später gemeldet und war freundlich am Telefon. Die Tischoberflächen in der Küche waren etwas verstaubt, aber 5 Minuten Arbeit war für uns kein Problem. Grundsätzlich ist es eher der Ort für Partyfans und nicht für einen entspannten Familienurlaub. Trotzdem danke, dass dieses Haus uns aufgenommen hat und wir etwas anderes gesehen haben.
