Great base for NW highlands walking

Easy to find / access Spacious and well equiped - everything you need bar a dishwasher. Comforttable beds and great shower. Rock cakes and f-range eggs both delicious.

The cottage is well cared for and spotless. The view over Loch Shin is beautiful. Having eggs, milk and homemade rock buns waiting for us was lovely. We stopped for a cuppa and bun immediately.

Just having the breakfast bar was a bit difficult for my elderly parents, but they had fun getting on and off the high chairs/stools. It meant my aunt wasn't able to have a meal in the cottage with us, but we just went the short distance to The Pier instead. I feel petty putting this as we all really liked the cottage.

The property was very clean and well kitted out. They even left some wonderful fresh supplies for us! The hosts were quick to respond, kind, and very accomodating with any requests. Would 100% love to revisit and recomend!

Great stay in Lairg

The accommodation was excellent.. modern, clean, comfortable and warm. It was stocked with everything you might need. The rock cakes and eggs on arrival were a nice touch. The check-in was easy, and the owner replied promptly to any questions. Will definitely return.

As an engineer I have stayed in lots of places but this holiday let was a little gem.

For an engineer working away from home it was an ideal base. Property was great, clean and tidy with everything one would need, keys to the property easily accessible. Host is only a phone call away if there are any questions or issues, which there were none. Would highly recommend and would look to book again if working in the vicinity. May even book it for a personal holiday.

There was nothing I could fault, can't say anything bad about this place.

Dies war die beste Unterkunft unserer Reise durch Schottland. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl im geräumigen Haus. Wir haben uns sehr über das Willkommenspackage gefreut (Kekse, Eier). Die Kekse waren vorzüglich! Hier gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen.

angenehmer Aufenthalt zentral in den Highlands

Schickes Appartment mit guter Ausstattung in einem offenbar erst vor wenigen Jahren neu erbauten Doppelhaus in ruhiger Lage. Als Begrüßung waren frische Eier und selbstgebackene Kuchen bereitgestellt. Gutes WLAN und als Highlight ein Amazon Echo Dot, um mit Alexa zu plaudern. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die nördlichen Highlands (aber mit bescheidener Infrastruktur).

Der Garten ist etwas kahl.

Perfect voor kort of lang verblijf

1e klas, vrijwel nieuw, ruim 2 onder 1 kap vrijstaand vakantiehuisje. Brandschoon, fraai en heerlijk rustig gelegen met prachtig uitzicht op het meer en de bergen. Een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het noorden van Schotland. Supermarkt en eetgelegenheden (tafel reserveren!) op loopafstand. Uiterst comfortabel verblijf met goede meubels en uitstekende bedden in twee slaapkamers. Uitgebreide keuken en uitrusting. Snelle WiFi en fraaie grote TV. Een salontafel ontbreekt helaas. Veel parkeergelegenheid. Wij hebben het hier 4 dagen prima naar ons zin gehad en voor een langer verblijf is het absoluut geschikt.

Hooguit ontbreekt het aan een vaatwasser. De wasmachine daarentegen is weer een bonus. Helaas ontbeert het wel goede tuinstoelen, een tafeltje en m.n. een overdekte/beschutte ruimte om ook buiten te kunnen genieten van het uitzicht.
