Blue Dream Hostel

Good location, clean, internal room for sleepers who don’t like the morning’s natural light with all the light switches working, furniture basic and solid, economical, reasonable value, friendly-enough staff. Reasonable roof space gives some shade and some sun. Staff are quite nice. Roof top space is basic but ok to take breakfast in shade or sun, or to host friends for an evening socialising. Clean bathrooms. Microwave and hob for use, fridge, freezer all work (maybe now staff can explain the coffee machine, Oak at least knows how it works now)

Staff are quite nice, Oak is particularly friendly. They prefer to work through phone translation into English, which can be a bit slow and basic; they also don’t seem to be so switched on (prioritising personal calls over customers) or trained (didn’t know how the coffee machine worked for the first three days, didn't seem so clear about the hotel rates/offer change unless the rates go up and down each day? (on the plus side they don’t hassle you for payment), The building has echoing noises because it’s tiles/cement etc without carpeting or wall covers, showers a bit cramped and not all parts are well maintained. Apologies to adding to this Mie and Oak, I left behind my soft black shoes in the hallway. They are quite old but very comfortable, if you meet a homeless person without shoes or someone who wants to try that style/comfort, please pass them on!
