Horrendous

The property had a multitude of leaks. Livingroom window, conservatory and front bedroom. The back bedroom bed was broken and the pull out bed was also broken and would split. Was advertised as able to park 5 cars, we struggled to get 2 on the drive. The neighbours had a fiat500 back and forth playing loud music until early hours. There was a hole in the wall in the kitchen with live wires about 2ft from the floor. The hob you couldn’t use more than 1 pan as it would just stop heating. Meals that would normally take 30 took 2 hours to make. The bathroom was mouldy with cracked bath panels. We asked the host to fix the issues but we were told the money from our booking will be used to fix all the issues and it “wasn’t a priority” We ended up leaving early. This booking left me embarrassed infront of family and colleagues. The host refused to compensate. Currently going through booking.com for a refund which is a slow and painful process. Do not book!!

Great value - clean and nice hot water !!

Getting key code is a bit of a hassle. Logging into booking .com to get it was not easy and in the end had to call owner. Makes you anxious and personally I would have liked the code the day before so you don’t spend all day worrying about getting the number. Lock box not as easy to use if you’re not used it before. That’s just me and it didn’t affect the stay but you are asking for feedback,

Ideal for short breaks

The house was well decorated and well equipped. For a short stay, it was ideal. The communication was great, they left us ice lollies because it was hot. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. The location was ideal for the NEC and the driveway is ideal. The rooms were clean, they all had mirrors and lovely little clothes rails.

There were a few things that needed fixing. One one the bedroom doors was broken, the handle doesn't work so you can't shut the door. One of the windows has a broken handle which comes off in your hand. The conservatory has double doors but the lock on one doesn't work properly which made it really difficult to lock.

Drug house

It was clean

When we arrived the house smelt strongly of drugs.we found a large bag of drugs in the kitchen..in the bag thete was weighing scales and little bags and a big bag of cannabis ans several riled up joints.i phoned the owner of the flat and he asked if I "could get rid of it for him"i refused to do so and told him it was his responsibility. He asked me to leave it in the garden as he was a hour away.he did apologise but offer no refund.the alarm kept bleeping loundly all night becouse the battery was running out.i phoned him and he said we must of set of the alarm .I told him no one smoked and we didn't cook.he did come out and chage the battery.the beds were clean but had very poor mattresses .the sofa bed was broke .it was a clean house but felt very let down as he said he would compensate us but he didn't..if your into using drugs ots a great place to stay.

Comfortable house with lots of room for a family.

It was comfortable and in a good location.

It would have been good to have had some better pots and pans in the property to cook with especially as we were there over Christmas.
