Disgusting cleaning issues and poor management company

Good location. House generally well specced. Provided coffee pods, washing pods etc which was a nice touch.

Huge cleaning issues - based on previous poor feedback on this matter, i made a point of asking questions about this prior to making the decision to use the house. Main bedroom bed had been slept in for a number of nights and sheets not changed. The bed had been professionally made therefore - for certain the cleaners had made the bed on purpose. see photos for disgusting bed full of body hairs. Also stained carpet on arrival mat area. Bedding damaged and ripped. I contacted the management company, who whilst quick to reply were of no help. Initially suggesting that apparently these hairs can make it through the laundry process - what a croc! By this point i had already stripped the second bed and put onto the main bed - better bedroom and already unpacked here! They offered to send cleaner out - i told them at this point it was too late. I suggested that they might want to offer a partial refund - if it was a hotel i would have simply changed rooms.... They declined to reply to this part of the email more than once! ALso see photos of dangerous steps at top of stairs - directly as you come out of the bathroom is a step cut into the landing which is a large safety danger to fall down the stairs when using in the dark. In the bathroom, the shower is fitted around an extractor fan which prevents it being lift higher, so for normal height people like me you cant wet your hair without kneeling!! Short version - stay clear of this management company - try to find a direct letting house where you deal with the owners....

Great Location, Bathroom unsafe and unclean

While I would like to begin by saying that the house itself is lovely and the location is excellent, unfortunately our overall experience was let down by the bathroom

The standard of the shower in particular was very disappointing. The water pressure from the shower head was extremely weak, making it difficult to wash properly, and the head itself was not securely attached to the wall. Because of this, it could not be adjusted for height or positioned in a stable way, which caused considerable inconvenience. I was also very concerned to find that the shower head was directly in front of an electric vent fan. This does not appear to be safe, as the proximity of water to an electrical fitting is naturally worrying, and it gave us the impression that the bathroom had not been set up with the care and safety standards one would expect from a property of this type. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the shower was shocking. It simply did not feel hygienic, and it gave us the impression that insufficient attention had been given to ensuring the bathroom was properly maintained for guests

Disgusting holiday rental

Nothing whatsoever, place was unacceptable inside and out, cloakroom toilet left unflushed, days old bird poo on patio window, outside patio area disgusting, weeds everywhere, cigarettes in empty bottle on garden table. Loose slabs, cracked window inside front of house, seating in lounge area very uncomfortable.

See above. This place needs serious money spent to bring it up to even a decent standard of expectation. If owner not prepared to do this then they are letting the company down. Only allowed to show 4 photos unfortunately it doesn't show how bad the place was. I have more photos showing other disgusting areas.

Lovely clean home. Comfortable with good outfitting of house. Great outfitting of house and appliances. Good instructions of use of appliances. Accommodating hosts.
