Perfectly positioned as part of station complex (alongside the Mercury) and an easy if fairly lengthy walk down to the seaside (which itself is somewhat spoiled by being lined with block after block of ugly apartments - Knokke is more attractive in this respect), the hotel provides a good value and comfortable stay. As with most budget chains, the room was functional rather than attractive with not even a local photo to provide a splash of colour or interest. It was however clean and tidy and well-maintained with a good shower. The breakfast selection was good too, providing an ample start to the day

The Budget Ibis doesn't always have any Receptionists available, so had to check-in at Mercure next-door. The door code stopped working next day. I had to get a new code from the Mercure every day! Which was very inconvenient- having to exit my hotel and walk around the corner to the next hotel. It also made me feel insecure at night, thinking no staff on duty! One night the fire alarm went off at 3am, all guests evacuated outside without any organisation, and it seemed like no one could reset the alarm. We couldn't return until 3.45am. The room itself was quite clean, except for some paw prints on wall below the window. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature. I didn't realise that tea-making facilities NOT included! The TV was quite large, but the bed was at right angle to the headboard?

Check in was a bit confusing. I'd checked in online in advance but didn't receive details of how to get into the hotel. Had to enquire at adjacent Mercure hotel and they were able to give access to the Ibis hotel. Not a major problem but could be clearer.

Our stay at Ibis Budget Blankenberge was not good. We arrived around 9pm and there was no one at the desk to check us in. We had to go outside to the neighbouring Mercure Hotel to checkin, which was a bit odd. The room was very basic and the sheets weren’t even made up on the bed. We were also evacuated from our room after midnight due to someone smoking in there room, setting off the fire alarm. The best part about the stay was the proximity to the train station which is less than a 2 minute walk from the front door of the hotel. I would only recommend this place for a lower cost option with good transport to Bruges, the stay itself was below average.

The hotel is at the train station. When we was visiting there were no hot water in the rooms. We were offered to use the shower at the Mercur hotel (next to). We got no compensation and the service was bad. We also had to pay to use the swimming pool at the neighbor hotel. The rom was dirty and low standard.

My second stay there and not the last! Super location, everything walkable (beach, shops, restaurants, train station...) Super friendly staff, clean and convenient rooms with nice lights and bathroom. Will definitely stay there again!

The hotel and room were more than OK; the location was very good and close to shops and the beach. The only negative point was the fact that you could get only 1 small sandwich for breakfast; I asked for a second one, but did not get it. Very strange.

good internet breakfast for the price not worth it no parking or even a discount for parking as there is plenty of parking in the car garage right next store at $22 a day. Location not bad train station right there 10 minute walk from the boardwalk with lots of restaurants

A fingernail cutting on the bathroom floor. Also the bathroom light was movement sensitive and after a couple of minutes in the shower the light goes off! Breakfast is quite basic but is pretty much what you would expect in a budget hotel in Belgium.

I had made the reservation for my family and friends. Carefully looked for hotel friendly dogs, and it said so in the hotel description from Hotels.com when I booked. As we arrived we were informed that the hotel did not accept dogs. The staff was very arrogant and did not help at all with any options. I had to look for another option and had to pay an extra night in another hotel.
