    Location is great for walking and getting to Kyoto station. The room is small but still larger than the ones in Tokyo. The ac unit put out a really bad odour when turned on - like dirty socks and odd vinegary smell which was super off putting. The staff tried to help by ozonating the room but it didn’t help. Bathroom is small as is expected. There is a very annoying motion sensor light in the hall which goes on if you use the washroom at night and stays on for about a minute. Not a great design. Overall a 3.5/5
