Everything! The rooms were clean, spartan, and lovely. The folks running the place were kind and very helpful. The breakfast was absolutely some of the best food I ever had. And the fact that it's a cafe/restaurant means you can get coffee and great baked goods and food right at your place! Loved it all around. Great location as well.

This property feels like home. It is super clean and tidy. But what really makes this unique is the excepcional service from the owners, who went above and beyond and exceded my expectations. Fast check in and caries my luggage’s. Then when I asked the owner to book me a taxi she did exactly at the time I told her. She went to my room and took my luggage’s all the way to the taxi. She is really amazing. I will be staying here again when I return to Kyoto.

The property was in a nice quiet location, we purchased bagels everyday from downstairs which was awesome. We were on the top floor but they helped us with our luggage up the stairs so it was fine. The room itself was super spacious. The bathroom was a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary for Japan. Staff were friendly. Room was very clean. I would stay here again.
