We had such a wonderful stay! Our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and had a patio with a beautiful view of the town. The breakfast was fantastic- so many options, comfy dining area, and espresso/coffee service. The hotel is in close proximity to the bus stops, lifts, restaurants and shops. The free bus pass that came with the hotel stay gave us amazing access to nearby towns and the dolomite passes! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge about things to do in the area. They also went above and beyond when I had a bike crash and gave me crutches to borrow, an ice pack, and helped me call a cab to the clinic.

We love Selva and have stayed there several times over the years. We most impressed by the attention to detail of not only the owners, but the entire staff. We look forward to staying there the next time we’re lucky enough to visit Selva again!

After celebrating Oktoberfest in Munich, our stay at Garni Hotel Concordia in Selva di Val Gardena was the perfect contrast; a peaceful, intimate escape nestled in the heart of the Dolomites. This charming, family-owned hotel offered more than just a place to stay; it provided a genuine connection to the warmth and spirit of the area.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends. Hermann and his wife, the gracious hosts of the property, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their local insights helped shape some of our most memorable experiences in Val Gardena—from hiking routes to nearby towns to lesser-known spots we would have definitely missed out on.
The hotel itself is spotless, with spacious and exceptionally comfortable rooms that made unwinding effortless. Each morning, Hermann personally prepared a delicious breakfast that ensured we started our day both well-fed and prepared. It’s rare to encounter such authentic hospitality; thoughtful, personal, and unpretentious.
Conveniently located in the center of town, The Garni Hotel Concordia is just a short walk to the main bus stop, with complimentary passes included in your stay. This thoughtful perk saved us both time and money as we explored the beautiful surroundings by public transport.
One of the unexpected highlights of our trip was simply getting to know Hermann, a kind, engaging, and passionate host whose presence added a truly personal touch to our visit.
