Smart Guesthouse

Great stay, very conveniently located to Termini station.

Smart Guesthouse worked out great. Carlotta was friendly and quick to respond to queries, and everything went smoothly. The room was clean, seemed recently renovated, had a pretty, high, arched ceiling in our room. Everything worked well, incuding the wifi, the A/C and the all-important expresso machine. It was a comfortable and quiet place to spend the night. The guesthouse works a bit like many vacation rentals these days, in the sense that there is no receptionist and you let yourself in. Carlotta was nonetheless able to supervise our check in remotely and made sure there were no problems. It’s in a good location near a lot of transportation (train station, metro hub, many bus lines) and walking distance from lots of sites (which includes a gorgeous building right across the street, which has Roman ruins in its pretty garden).

We had a perfect stay at the Smart Guesthouse in Rome. The host was very accommodating with allowing us to store our luggage and letting us know as soon as the room was ready as we were exhausted from overnight travel. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. It was also perfectly clean! The location was also wonderful for us as we could walk to the train station and we were able to visit everywhere we wanted to go either by a nice walk or a quick jump on the metro. It was perfect!
