I really loved the centrality of the location, near the train station and that it was recently refurbished. A real gem!

Great hotel,, location and staff are great. Downside for me was the heating on the floor and I was already hot. Turned air to 20 to keep cool. For me the bed was very firm and the pillows need to be replaced as there was no support.

The breakfast was not good, which means there was not much variety. There were no bathrobes or slippers in the room. Even when I asked for a double bed, it was not provided. In short, I did not like it at all and I do not recommend it.

If I had not prepaid for the entire stay, I would have changed hotels after the very first night. One of the few positive aspects of this hotel was that the room was cleaned every day, and we did not experience any problems with late check-in. The staff at the entrance and reception area were also noticeably friendlier and more welcoming compared to the rest of the staff. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The biggest issue was the noise. The rooms are extremely poorly insulated, and the walls are incredibly thin. Even when there was no noise coming from outside, we could hear every sound from neighboring rooms and the corridor. Every morning we woke up because of people walking to breakfast or talking nearby. It was impossible to properly rest. We also had two very unpleasant experiences during breakfast service. The first one happened when we sat at a four-person table while there were many empty tables available in the breakfast area. Even though we had already placed our food and drinks on the table, the staff forced us to move simply because we were two people. We moved to a smaller table despite the restaurant remaining half empty during the entire breakfast. No large group ever came to use that table. The situation felt unnecessary, rude, and disrespectful. The second experience was even worse. We ordered two cappuccinos during breakfast and later asked for another round. The staff member reacted by asking, “Didn’t you already have cappuccino before?” When we said yes and explained that we wanted another one, the cappuccino that arrived was honestly embarrassing. It felt passive-aggressive, almost as if they were trying to discourage us from asking again. The breakfast selection itself was also very limited. However, if the breakfast staff had been kind, welcoming, and smiling, this would not have been such an important issue for us. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff made the entire experience much worse. In general, the breakfast staff were extremely unfriendly. Nobody smiled, nobody tried to be welcoming, and despite us always behaving politely, we never received the same respect in return. We genuinely felt uncomfortable during our stay. What made the experience even more upsetting was the clear difference in attitude toward Italian guests compared to us. Italians were treated much more warmly and kindly, while we often felt ignored or unwelcome. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the same price, you can easily find much better hotels in Rome with kinder staff, better service, and proper sound insulation.
