The staff and service were excellent. My main problem was I kept hitting my head on the slopping ceiling when using the bathroom. Food was good but the Chicken Curry on the first night contained very little Chicken. However the Lamb and Pork dishes were excellent. I also enjoyed the Proper Job IPA reduced alcohol on draught. Overall a relaxing holiday for my wife and I. We will be back.

I really enjoyed staying in the center of town. The hotel wears its historic weaves with aplomb but its tasteful refurbishment turns the luxury up to 11.
