Fire hazard
Great location, pub beneath very nice, no street noise at night, hot shower.
Would have been fine, if a little dated, my main issue was that on our last night we had a fire alarm at 2am and there were no staff on site so my husband had to go back into the hotel up stairs to the first floor in order to find contact details and ring staff to come and investigate/ turn off alarm. Can’t actually believe that it can be legal to leave guests alone in hotel with no staff on site for emergencies. Alarm wasn’t even linked to fire station so it was entirely on the guests to sort. And the number was upstairs. Really unsafe and worrying, didn’t really get back to sleep worrying about it afterwards.

Great location, cosy. Great staff and atmosphere
Location great and room was excellent. Ate there one evening and really enjoyed the food
Need to be clearer on some aspects. 1. Make it clear that food cannot be charged to room, so needs to be paid for at the time. 2. Check out communication could do with clarity. Booking states by 10am. We checked out at 9.30am and no one was around and everything locked up. We had to guess what to do with keys etc
