Tulip House

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is excellent — convenient, central, and easy to get around from. The view from my room was simply stunning; I found myself just sitting and looking out the window. The staff deserve a special mention they were genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The airport transfer was seamless, which made arriving and departing completely stress-free. A truly pleasant experience from start to finish.

The location could not have been better; right in the heart of things but on a quiet street. Be aware that there are stairs to navigate and it's on a steep street, so those with mobility problems may have issues. The staff were very helpful (including carrying my bag up the stairs) and they offer a menu of items that you can order from a local establishment that will be delivered to your room; a very convenient solution for those nights when you're tired and don't want to deal with trying to go out. The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the harbor and the beds/bedding were very comfortable.

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay and I’m not sorry I was there. A couple things to note I reached out to see about getting picked up from the airport to which they claimed was €55 but once I was talking to them on WhatsApp, they upped the price of 65 and insisted on cash. But later they sent a text telling me it was 55 through Expedia. My recommendation is to arrange your own ride through an app or other service or I paid US$40 to get my ride. The other odd thing was that they expected me to pay cash when I showed up. I thought that was odd but they did accept my credit card. They were very helpful recommending places to eat and things to look out for and watch out. The staff was very nice. Bring your own toiletries no bath soap, shampoo, or conditioners or lotions were offered.

The hotel is in a great location. I have never met a more helpful staff. Would stay here again.
