Absolutely loved the hotel. Very spacious room was beautifully decorated with textiles from a local shop and other charming and tasteful interiors. Everything was very well maintained and clean.
Friendly and attentive owner and staff were always there to help and assist.
The only backdrop would be the noises and music sounds from bars nearby at night, but for me this was an acceptable trade-off for the convenient location. During the day, it was quiet and peaceful in general. I hope to come back!

Great staff, location & hotel. A historic building and a nice change from your generic hotel without compromise. Good AC & beds. Yes, some noise from the nearby bars in the evening but not a deal breaker for us. Would stay again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Eateries are easily accessible. We were happy to have chosen this hotel for our stay in Penang.
