Alagon D antique located in a great and convenient location with a lot of good restaurants around. The restaurants open late. Staff is very helpful. The only thing I didn't like is that they only give you two keys and one has to be on the door to keep the AC running

Value for money and then some! This place goes out of its way to make its guests feel valued. They may not be 5 star but they’ve tried their best to make the most of what they have. We stayed in the Heritage Suite which was nice and big. Bathroom was big, though the step up to the shower/bath was quite high. Bed was a little on the hard side and while we did have a view of the city, we were also right above the street so at night we could hear a lot of the noise. I didn’t get a lot of sleep but my partner slept well…Upstairs they had a medium sized pool to cool down in, a deck to relax under the sun, a little bar area by the pool with a screen to watch sport, a separate bar area with a decent sized spa, a sauna and a small gym. Breakfast was ok. There’s not a great variety but a few of everything to choose between. Where the real value came in was that we were given free foot massages, chips and a drink each at the bar and free dinner vouchers, in addition to a couple beers and soft drinks included in the mini bar you get everyday. The staff go out of their way to look after you, or watch your bags while you go out or get you anything you need. And of course, short walk to Ben Tanh, Central Markets and Saigon Square with mini marts, restaurants and massages all on the same street. I’d definitely try and get a room away from the street but other than that, could not fault the service or value for money!
