    If you are looking for somewhere that is accessible to Pg de Gràcia and yet still quiet, this is a good fit… next to the metro although I traveled by cab which cost no more than 15euro to all the places of interest … staff are friendly, clean and spacey rooms , I can’t complain !!

    "We recently stayed at the hotel and had a fantastic experience! The staff were top-notch, especially Margarita from the Front Desk . She was amazing, remembering we're repeat customers and going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Special thanks to her for the assistance! We were also thrilled with the complimentary bottle of wine and macaroons - what a lovely surprise! And thanks for upgrading one of our standard rooms to a premium room, it was a great treat! All the front desk clerks were super friendly and helpful, even helping us load our bags into the taxi when we left. And the staff at the restaurant were all smiles and great service too. Olivia Balmes Hotel will always be our home away from home whenever we visit Barcelona - we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!"

    I was traveling with senior family members. The location is convenient, with a metro station nearby, although not the interchange station—Diagonal is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. Overall, our experience was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our check-in process and welcomed us with complimentary drinks and macarons. A special highlight was the breakfast, which was amazing, with attentive and kind service from the staff. Definitely the right hotel choice in Barcelona city.

    The location is excellent with easy walkability, and the rooms offer a good size. Also, the staff are absolutely beautiful, very friendly, sweet, and helpful.However, for a price of #### per night, this stay is absolutely not worth the money due to bad room conditions. The room is outdated, neglected, and full of dust. The furniture and the mirror are worn out and damaged. To make matters worse, we found hairs on the bed linen, wires were sticking out of the TV, and the hot water supply was very unreliable. We stayed for only one night, so we did not use the pool or try the breakfast.
