Thisnis a destination hotel and THE placee to stay. Not only are the grounds flowers and dinners above and beyond, the roof top bath is the best- looks right into Fujisan.
These folks have thought of everything and their staff is a very thoughtful team.
If you have logistical questions they respond on time in English.

The service and the team at Hotel Kaneyamaen was only surpassed by the amazing morning views of Fuji while soaking in our private hot spring onsen. What a joy and a privilege to stay at such a wonderful property with attentive, kind, lovely staff!

My wife and I were visiting Japan for our late honeymoon. And we were treated with much respect from the Fujisan Onsen Hotel staff. Everyone was so polite and patient with us. We loved our hotel room and the view of Mt.Fuji. My wife especially loved to lay on the couch infront of the window and wished she could've stayed there forever. Her favorite was the massage because she fell asleep twice! The massage technique is very different from the american ones so she said it felt so good after walking 20,000 steps a day. The shuttle bus pickup/drop-off was not difficult to call for. They picked us up in about 15 minutes. It did not take long. Everything was great! We really enjoyed this hotel and felt super spoiled. We hope to return again in the future.
