Our cabin was in a quiet wooded area but close to everything Fuji! It was clean and just as described. The dinner we ordered from our hosts was one of our best and most authentic meals we had in Japan.

Erg vriendelijk personeel die ons ontving en uitleg gaf over de accommodatie. Heel fijn huisje met prachtig uitzicht op het groen. We hadden deze locatie op doortocht voor 1 nachtje. Maar ik had er graag langer willen blijven. Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien. Op een goede locatie aan de rand van het dorp Fujiyoshida.

It’s a beautiful traditional home, very spacious.
It was very far from the centre of the town, requiring about a 20 minute taxi to and from everywhere. Taxis and Ubers are hard to come by here, there seems to be a shortage of them. Unless you have your own car I would think twice about this place. We ended up leaving early because of the amount of insects, large spiders etc, but we are city people and not used to this. It is also beside a busy main road which made the place feel less tranquil than expected.
