We stayed at the hotel with our grandchildren for 1 night en route to southern Brittany. We found the owners to be very charming with good English, although we tried hard to speak French, which I think was appreciated. We couldn't be more delighted with our rooms. They were beautifully furnished with good views from all the windows. The beds comfortable and the bathrooms a delight, they were large and very tastefully furnished. I would love to find one of the hand basins to have in my own bathroom!! Breakfast was good, everything you could want. We would stay again and we might go back in the spring for a long weekend at the Citadel hotel and enjoy Port Louis for longer.
