    We recently stayed at The Sebel West Perth Apartments and had a mixed experience overall. In terms of location, it may not be very convenient for guests who are not driving. There is not much around the property itself, and most eateries are at least 1.3km away. Walking can be quite uncomfortable as there are slopes and uneven pathways in the surrounding area. As for the room, it was generally fine and reasonably equipped. I appreciated having a top-load washing machine, a front-load dryer, a mini kitchen with an induction stove, and a small fridge in the room, which was convenient for a longer stay. However, there were a few issues that affected the experience. The glass shower panel door made a sharp crackling sound whenever it was pushed. The sound was quite alarming and felt as though the glass might crack or shatter, which was uncomfortable to deal with during the stay. The biggest issue happened on our last evening. All of our room access cards suddenly stopped working and we were locked out, even though we had not checked out and had already paid our full stay, including the car park fees (AUD25 per night for all nights). We were unsure what caused this issue. Thankfully, we managed to enter the building and there was still a receptionist available to assist us, who reissued new cards. While I appreciate the staff member’s help, the incident itself was quite worrying and disappointing, especially on our last night. Being unexpectedly locked out of the room despite having an active booking created unnecessary stress. I hope the management can review and improve the system to prevent future guests from facing similar situations. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

    Stayed one night in transit Easter Friday - booking purchased at a discount of ***. On the edge of the CBD, easy exit to main freeways, walking distance to CBD / free bus stops across road, gorgeous roof top pool area, washing machine /dryer and capacity to prepare own meals, added bonus of own balcony .

    Loved our stay. Super clean and great facilities. Highly recommended however the only fault is that there were no pool towels. A small thing but would be great to have. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.
