We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel in mid June. Initially I emailed the hotel on two occasions to advise we would be checking in around 10pm as they close check in at 9pm and you will need an access code in advance. They did not respond to my emails. Eventually I had to call them and was provided with a code that did not work for our room, luckily there was still someone around to help us get into our room. On arrival we discovered our room and the whole hotel had no air conditioning as it was broken, the provided a fan unit but as the temperature was in the mid 30’s it was useless. At no time were we advised in advance the aircon dead broken. There did not offer any discount on the room booking or even a free drink to apologise. Breakfast was basic Germany so nothing special. I did eat in the restaurant one night and the food was decent so would recommend that as an option. It’s disappointing that we had to endure extreme heat in the room but a gesture of good will would probably have prevented my complaint.

Very nice place,, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great location , few steps away from the ferry to cross the river. Excellent for jogging,cycling.friendly staff,large rooms.highly recommended .
