    The hotel is in a very convenient location in Taksim, and the toilet was clean. The staff were generally friendly as well. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The pillows had a bad smell and it seemed they were not changed regularly. Also, although this is a hotel rather than a hostel, visitors are not allowed to enter the rooms. I understand that the hotel may have its own policy, but when I had visitors with me, a staff member shouted at them when they entered the room. I think this could have been handled much more politely by simply explaining the hotel’s policy. There was also no toothpaste provided, which was a little surprising for a hotel. Overall, the location is good and the staff are friendly, but cleanliness of the bedding and the way the visitor policy is communicated could definitely be improved.
