    I stayed at The Leaf House from June 18 to 25. For a budget-friendly property in San Juan, its biggest draws are the location and room size. Great location. It’s a short walk to shops and local eateries, so getting around by jeepney or Grab was a breeze. Spacious room. The unit itself was generously sized. Modern electronic lock. No fuss with keys or check-out return; the PIN-based door system worked flawlessly every time. Budget price. At roughly ₱1,200/night, it’s hard to beat for sheer square footage in this part of Metro Manila.

    Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are a few areas that need improvement. The biggest issue was the water pressure. Every morning, the water would become very weak, and about 10–15 minutes into our showers it was almost impossible to rinse properly. This happened consistently and was quite inconvenient. Cleanliness could also be improved. We found a cockroach in one of the rooms, which was disappointing. The unit would also be more comfortable if it had floor rugs, especially around the beds and bathroom. The towels provided were quite thin, and we were also hoping there would be at least some basic cooking appliances or kitchen equipment for longer stays. Considering these issues, I don't think the property offers the best value for money compared to other accommodations in the area. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked very well and kept the rooms nice and cold throughout our stay. The location was convenient for us since it was close to FilOil Arena, where we attended an event. Lastly, the staff were excellent—very kind, responsive, and accommodating whenever we needed assistance.
