Moxy Seoul Myeongdong

I loved staying at this hotel it was in the perfect location to everything. The staff were amazing. They have a laundry room that was simple and easy to figure out. They have a scale for luggage that was nice. The food area was amazing, the staff the food the cleanliness of the hotel. I was so impressed every day.

Thanks to Max Chung, our stay at Moxy was amazing!  The first room we got was unfortunately too small for our luggage. We are two sisters in our mid 50's who were staying at Moxy for 11 nights and while the beds were big, the room was too small. If the room had twin beds instead of full beds, it might have been fine.  Max was able to move us into a much larger rooms to fit all of our luggage a couple of days after we arrived which made our stay so worth it.  We told all of our friends and family members about Moxy and how wonderful Max was to move us into a bigger room.   Moxy was in a perfect location in Myeongdong.  There is so much happening in this neighborhood and where I will stay in the future. It was very close to the train stations, bus stations and the Myeongdong night market which came in handy when we didn't know what we wanted to eat for dinner but didn't want to eat too much food.  There was a convenient store right next to the hotel which we would pick up our water every morning and evening.   The only constructive feedback we would have would be for the cleaning crew.  Our person didn't sweep the floors daily which wouldn't have been too bad for those who don't lose as much hair as we do.  We did use the spare toilet paper and it would have been nice to have them replace the last roll with another one.  The cleaner did replace the one on the rod when it was getting low so that made us feel a little better.

Location-convenient & close to the subway & great if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong. But upon arrival via taxi it was difficul to locate due to construction. I was able to locate it with the assistance of a police officer. Staff-wonderful, everyone i encountered was friendly and helpful. Even accommodated an early check in due to their availability. Room & amenities-great especially with the use of their laundry room & there is free good cofffee. The room was bright & comfortable.The only down side was their thin walls. Woke up in the middle of the night due to another traveler talking on their phone. I had an end room and I was even able to hear the other person on speaker. I stayed in a total of 4 hotels during my trip and aside from the disruptive phone call Moxy was trendy & one of my favorite hotels.

Fantastic location. Clean room, staff very helpful and friendly.
