check in was alittle trouble some had to return 3 times but was just upgraded finally since room wasnt ready. pleased will stay again

Staff was amazing!! So accommodating! Went over and above their duties. Willing to get to know you. Friendly!

No breakfast. Coffee was ok, only had coffee mate creamers, no half and half. Stay was nice, we stayed down the road in an ocean front room. Had a hot tub in the room whixh was nice but it is surrounde by carpet which is weird and outdated. Fireplace didnt work. Balacony had a great veiw of the ocean. Small kitchenette which was convenient. Would definitely stay here again if the price was the same. Paid about 116 in December.

We booked for the view. We stayed here once before and decided the view and having a bedroom were enough to come again despite the lack of upkeep. This time however was a bit worse, and we are pretty chill and forgiving. However

Got a non-ocean view room. Room was spacious and clean. The windows were opened when we arrived (late-Nov) so it was a little musty from the ocean. The beds were comfortable and easy access to the beach.

Needs some updating and cleaning. Mold in shower and ants in kitchen. Lights from hotel shine through the paper shade .

The people above our room wouldn’t keep their kids from roller blading through the hallway, then after dark, the kids took the roller blades inside amd used them u til well after 2am. We called the front desk but no answer. We even talked to the people above us and they didn’t seem to care about our wishes for a comfortable stay.

Room was fine except cleaners forgot to take garbage out under sink. Room was right above hot tub and most people talk really loud to overcome noise of hot tub or because they are drinking. Hard to have romantic time listening to ocean waves instesd

Great room, great view.

I love the seahorse! From the minute, you walk in, you feel like you’re home. Special shout out to the front desk staff. From the minute I arrived they made me feel welcome and asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay enjoyable. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but from talking to the manager, they are planning on doing a lot of upgrades. But it suited my needs perfect I had a room with a balcony, a fireplace, a mini fridge, Kerig coffe maker and a microwave and a very nice king size bed. right below my room was the hot tub and pool. The pool was clean and heated to a nice degree and the hot tub was hot enough with a beautiful view of the sunset. I especially appreciated that they texted me before I arrived and answered any questions I had promptly. i’ve heard people complain about the 99 steps down to the beach, but I think that’s part of what makes this place so affordable they don’t overcharge you for what you get basically, they have everything that you would find in a higher end hotel just a little dated. I will be returning and recommend this place to my friends. I love your heart Just FYI - I am writing this review from my phone and the interface with Expedia is kind of clunky. it’s difficult to go back and retype what you already typed. So Expedia- that’s on you ! i might not use Expedia again for my reviews- but I back to the Seahorse !

The room was not freshed up, it felt dirty in away. I'm a house keeper, so I noticed the small things. The staff was great ! The room was very spacious, But the best was the view.

Rooms were very dirty

The room really needed maintenance. There was a towel hanging instead of blinds. The shower drain needs some draino. The bed was extremely firm. The pillows are flat. Staff was nice and helpful. The outside lights do not provide enough light.

when we got there we were told a boiler went out so our room had no hot water, but that we would receive compensation. reasonable, sucks but out of their control. at check out front desk couldn’t process any sort of refund but reassured we should call the next day as the manager, Shorne, would be in and could do this. I called, got someone at the front desk who was lovely and got my name and reservation number before handing me off to Shorne. I was met with an extremely rude “how can I help you” as if the person I had just spoken to hadn’t primed her for this. I again explained that we had no hot water in our room and I was told to call about a partial refund. She snapped “who told you that?” and then begrudgingly told me we would receive a 20% discount within 7-10 days and hung up. Kinda crazy to only get that much back when a shower is kinda half the reason you get a hotel room. Obviously didn’t use spa or pool because we wouldn’t have been able to shower after. Hugely disappointing interaction, would have definitely stayed there again otherwise but will seek out other accommodations next time.

Yes the view was wonderful! Kitchen good-we did not cook.

There was no hot water, sadly, and we learned this only upon arrival. They moved us the next day, although not until 1:00. The room we moved to had several issues and needs some work. First night was refunded, so that was nice. But we won’t be back until this place is remodeled.

Registration staff was excellent. I arrived 15 minutes after the office closing time. The on-site staff saw my arrival and returned to open the door and complete my registration! The view from the room was wonderful. I awoke in the middle of the night and could watch the “king tide” waves from m bed. The stay was exactly what I had hoped for. Thank you!

Staff was great, room needed serious work. Mattresses kept sliding off ridiculous "platform", with corners dropping in. The bed skirt was on the floor. 1 window was broken with no way of opening. Fridge took forever to get cold. Hot water was hard to figure out in shower since handle just spun around.

The staff were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-cared for. The new owners are trying hard to update this hotel and make it family friendly.

Staff was helpful and very courteous, parking is difficult especially for larger vehicles. The floors in the room are curling up in places and need of updating. However the room view was excellent as is the location on the beach front. Both the outside hot tub and indoor pool are good but needing some updating. Would we stay again, yes we would.

Floors were super dirty and our feet turned black walking on it. We also found a wrapper from a chocolate muffin that was dried out and moldy with ants under the couch. The beds were comfortable and we at least slept well. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Between those 2 things, that's the only reason we aren't rating it lower.

Clean room. Great view from the balcony. Room can use some upgrading and has some cosmetic issues but overall was good.

The room is in need of deep cleaning. The furniture is old and outdated. The bed is hard as a rock and the pillows are as flat as can be. But had an excellent view.
