My only real complaint would be that the pillows had no support at all which made it very difficult to sleep and get comfortable. There were a lack of outlets for phone chargers near the bed and the TV was hidden behind the curtains so we thought there was no TV until we found it in the morning. We both had a very hard time sleeping due to the bed being uncomfortable so we sadly ended up leaving our stay around 3am to go home so we could get better sleep. Otherwise the Hotel is beautiful and very accessible and very cool treehouse vibe. Staff was very friendly.

It started out so well! Great staff, good pool, tasty food. Then on our last night, my boyfriend and I came back from the bar and decided to have some drinks on the balcony. We were out there chatting away when all of a sudden, a strobe light starts flashing in the room. Stunned, we ran inside and heard a knock at the door. It was cops. Apparently, our conversation had been too loud for some of our neighbors. Instead of calling the phone in our room and asking us to quiet down, THE HOTEL CALLED THE COPS ON US. It was utterly baffling. And a gross overreaction. Who calls the cops to report a conversation?²

I used to love this hotel; however, this experience wasn’t as great as previous ones. The staff was friendly but not very effective at solving issues. Breakfast was disappointing—Two Hands and Soho House are nearby, and we recommend going there instead. The guy at the pool was exceptional: attentive, efficient, and high-quality service. Housekeeping was also great—everything was very clean. However, the minibar was incomplete, and I was left waiting for hours for items I had to request at the front desk, which never arrived. My Hotels.com benefits weren’t honored, and overall, it was clear they were short-staffed.

We will definitely be back, the room was extremely clean, bed sheets had no smell compared to other hotels. We fell in love with this place. I will say the parking is very tricky, you will have three options, pay valet parking with hotel magdanela for $55, garage parking $70+ per day or street parking but you have to be lucky.

I really liked this hotel and would stay again for the location and the pool. The staff is very friendly. My hotel room window faced a back alley area where trash is stored and on Monday mornings at 6:30 am - you can hear the garbage trucks right out your window dumping the trash out. I mentioned this to the hotel and they called them "delivery trucks" which was off-putting. I saw the garbage trucks.

The rooms are small and oddly set up. The sink is in the room and the bathroom is quite small. The bed is facing the back wall/window so the door to the room is behind your head. The grounds has a nice feel, but does not compare to the other Bunkhouse hotels that we have stayed at. The pool is quite small and there are a limited number of loungers around the pool. It was a fine hotel, but not worth paying a premium for in my opinion.

The hotel property was very nice. But we were very underwhelmed by our room. The room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before we got there. There was still trash in the trash pail when we got there. There were old trays of food outside our room from the previous guests’ room service. The shower had very poor water pressure and was hard to control the temperature. Some days it came out really hot and others it never warmed up. We will not be staying here again.

This was honestly *such* a good experience. I had stayed here once before and it was fine, but wow the second time was the charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming and warm, I had wonderful conversations with each person I chatted with. We had a VIP benefit from Expedia (a little cash credit to use on food) but Hotel Magdalena also threw in 2 free beverage credits on top of that. Everything smells amazing, it's near a bunch of places to eat and walk around, the pool is perfect (especially for littles as it's small and not very deep! and mostly stays in the shade all day!) If you want to wash your hands with Le Labo and admire punchy gorgeous bathroom tile and walk over to Jenny's Ice Cream (or Amy's for that matter) at 9:30 pm for a late night treat--this is most definitely the spot for you.

This place is a gem. Hidden behind all the shops and restaurants. My view was green trees. My room was spacious and clean. I loved the screened in balcony. The bathroom was awesome. I will definitely come back and bring my dog.

We found a small piece of glass in one of the beds. On Saturday afternoon we got back to the room around 4:00 pm, and the room wasn’t cleaned yet. The cleaning lady told me I have to ask the front desk for cleaning service, otherwise they don’t clean the room. The guy at the front desk told me it wasn’t necessary to ask for cleaning, that it will be done after they finished cleaning the rooms that were reserved directly at the hotel page, because the app reservations go at the end. Also it cost me around 30% more with Expedia than directly with the hotel. For more than $500 a night is an overvalued hotel.
