I booked a room last minute for a business trip (booking made at 9pm night before). The booking was duplicated in error (I clicked on booking twice as I thought it hadn’t been received) and I was charged twice. I arrived late and there was no one on reception so I explained the error in the morning but the owner refused to refund me for the extra room which he knows I didn’t use. He said that the room could have been sold to someone else even though I booked on the night before! I will not use this hotel again

Hotel location is wonderful so is the building itself. Loved staying there. Staff didn't seem too friendly and didn't see them smile once. Didn't feel welcomed by them. But other than that everything was good.

We enjoyed our overnight stop at this hotel. The hotel was easy to find, and has a large car parking area. The grounds are well kept, with trees in every direction. Check in was quick, and we received a good welcome. We stayed in room 12. The room is large, with windows on two sides. So it is quite bright inside. The bed was firm and comfy. What struck us was the exceptional cleanliness. Breakfast was fine. Help yourself buffet. We were more than happy with what was provided. The hotel is a good vase for visiting the surrounding area. We would stay again, and would recommend the hotel.

The hotel is located on a main road outside village Bonheiden, but ~ 15 minutes drive from Mechelen. It is listed as 4 star, but I would rank it more like 3 star or 3 star superior. The mail receptionist may not be the most welcoming, but provided enough service. The rooms are quiet large and clean, the beds comfy. Bathroom clean with separate toilet. Free WIFI fast. The location is fairly quiet, but still on a main road. There is a restaurant and terrace, although on the Tuesday of arrival the restaurant opened only in the evening. Breakfast was fine, but again to me more 3 star (superior). The hotel is better priced than most accommodation closer to Mechelen. Although satisfactory, I found it a bit disappointing.

This is a beautiful hotel at the base of the Swiss Alps, the rooms are spacious and the views are spectacular! The staff speaks English very well amd they go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
