The hotel design is stunning. The greeting was lovely at check in and was gifted a bottle of wine in the room and a lovely view. Sadly when I arrived in the room it wa dirty with hair on the floor, beer bottle lids, squashed flies on the wall and I found at night could here everything else from ever other room. Not sound proof at all!
The staff was hit or miss.. some were lovely, but the majority always with a sour face or negative vibes and made me and my daughter feel very unwelcome. The happy board meals were allocated in basilico were the food was not great at all and crowds of people queuing to get very average food. There was no Greek authenticity in the food or the hotel.
I loved the pools but was impossibly to get a sunbed. Best part of my stay was a had a massage on my bday and the massuese was amazing. The male therapist was humble and definitely the nicest member of staff I came across at the hotel.
Would have been nice to have had more live music and more of a Greek touch to things. I think the hotel management really needs to get the staff to be bit more friendly and hospitable.. and lack of variety I. Meals for the half board. We ended up eating out every night! We won’t be returning because of this ..
