We enjoyed our stay...as there are only 4 rooms. The staff is only there for checkin and breakfast service...so make sure you are in contact with them for arrival time. Checkin was good. We got the mixed breakfast of savory and sweet. There was more than enough food for the both of us...fresh fruit, breads, sweets, eggs,tea and coffee, juice,and much more, delivered to your room at the time you specify.

The location is very good - away from the very busy city center, but still very close to it. The room was very clean, comfortable, and much larger than expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They brought breakfasts to the room, which was very convenient. Bread, cheese and fruit served for breakfast were excellent and fresh. It was good to have a choice between 'sweet' (pastries) and 'salty' (eggs and ham) breakfasts. Overall, the breakfasts were pretty good. However, there was no choice of what we wanted to eat, so there were some 'big hits' (lovely ham and sunny side eggs) and some 'big misses' too (with very 'tough' omelets, strange tasting scrambled eggs, and mortadella - not everyone wants to eat those). The major inconvenience is having no staff there at all between 13.00-16.00, and the entrance door is locked. This is something the hotel staff need to think through. Tourists have no say in what time their planes arrive, and with luggage, they have nowhere to go. We arrived during 'no checking in' hours, called the hotel and they gave us the entry code, so at least we could unlock the front door and wait inside on the staircase steps (the entry hall is tiny and there is nowhere else to sit) until the 'check in' time. Perhaps, this could be sent as an instruction to guests - 'punch in the code and wait inside', or (even much better), there should be someone in the hotel at least during the daytime. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this property. The location was perfect, the room was comfortable and the staff could have not been more helpful. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was great. We were however disappointed and felt mislead by the listing on the Hotels.com website which influenced our decision to stay at this hotel. The image was of Café Carducci, a restaurant at the end of the street and not Veronetta House. Incidentally Café Carducci is a lovely restaurant.

This was a lovely cute property in the heart of Verona. We even had our own patio to relax in! Breakfast was brought to the room and included a wide selection of breakfast items including exotic fruit. Of course we had that on the patio. It was walking distance to all the eating, shopping and city center. We parked our car around the corner in a paid parking lot. Driving is tricky due to the very narrow streets.

It was perfectly situated,close to everything.The girl on reception was super friendly and helpful.Room was fab with air conditioning.My only criticism would be that the shower was tiny.Breakfast was brought to the room and was amazing

Beautiful, clean hotel walking distance to city center. Staff was very helpful, friendly and offered many suggestions of things to see. Enjoyed the variety of breakfast items each day. Had a lovely stay.

Wonderful place to stay in Verona. Flippo and Stefano were excellent hosts who helped us arrange an outing to nearby winery and other transportation. Lovely bright rooms and delicious continental breakfast served each day. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice, all too brief stay. I was made very welcome, the room was beautifully decorated and with its own little garden area. Very near historic centre of Verona and a beautiful historic property. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and good coffee. I will stay here again if I am lucky enough to visit Verona.

We had an amazing stay at Veronetta House. The red room was beautiful, very clean and lots of lovely finishing touches. The bed was so comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. The breakfast was superb - above and beyond what you would normally receive in an Italian B & B - we were so pleased. If we look to return to Verona we would definitely return to Veronetta House.

We had a great stay at Veronetta House. The place was spotless clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast is definitely a plus, with a good choice of pastry and fruits as well. Stefano is a very nice host and gave us useful tips about what to visit in Verona, all reachable with a short walk from the House. We will definitely stay here again.
