GRAND BASE Haruyoshi

I like the unit because it was well-maintained, looked new, had a spacious bathroom with a tub, 2 basins for washing, toilet was in separate room. Washing machine was very useful. I also like that there is an area for dining, and kitchen was fully equipped. We bought wagyu beef from a nearby grocery store and cooked steak for dinner. Convenience stores were 2 to 5 minutes walk, bus station 6min. Can walk or ride a bus to the shopping area (Tenjin). Quiet environment. My family liked staying in the unit very much. A couple of suggestions though, to provide extra pillows and hangers.

On the site it promotes that this accomodation is fit for families with young children. However, the place is so small you can't even open your suitcases without putting it on the bed. While our infant (2y) was sleeping at 7PM, there was no other place to sit except for the bed. Their iPad with all room information was handy, but it becomes annoying when in the middle of the night it brightens up the room because the battery was charged to x%. No way to shut it down. We got assigned room ***, but we had no choice. Room *** is on the ground floor, next to the entrance. So when others enter the building, you will hear them. No balcony as it's on the ground floor. No washing machine as promoted. Also the floor was creeking, making it impossible to remain silent while our kid is asleep. We stayed 1 night (of the 5 we booked), but we booked another accomodation because we were really disappointed with this location. No partial refund, but we luckily managed to find another hotel. I'll take this loss, but will sure as hell not return there.
