I’ve been to Bali 4 times and this experience was my best so far. I was on my way to East Java when I stayed here the first time and the 2nd time on my way back to Denpasar. I stayed in both the standard room and the deluxe. Very good value for money.

Chocolate and his staff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful start to our Bali vacation. We were exhausted after 40 hours of travel. This is a quiet, clean place to recuperate. The surrounding gardens provided shade and tranquility. Chocolate made airport transfer and other transportation arrangements for us; this provided a huge peace of mind. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance for lunch/dinner and a swimmable beach. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend!!

Wonderful snorkelling on biorock - please give donation for their wonderful work to continue. We will definitely return to Mango Tree Inn. One suggestion would be for cushions on outside chairs in front of room.

We rounded out our trip to Bali at this inn. It was quiet, relaxing, peaceful, tucked off the main road, next to a papaya and mango plantation. Our room was decent, for the price we paid, but didn't have a TV (which is fine) and the wifi shut off at 9:30 pm nightly. The beach was a short walk (5 minutes max down a quiet path) and litter and hawker-free! The breakfasts were good, and the fresh local fruit provided yum. The Warung Setia across the street on the main road was the cheapest eats in Bali - a must visit (we ate every lunch and dinner there for 4 days!). Overall a great place to stay!

Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. They helped me book a snorkelling tour to Menjangan Island. I highly recommend going to Pemuteran and visiting North Bali. It's not as busy here as compared to the south so you can actually relax on your holiday. This was a great way to end our 4 week holiday overseas.

The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is the thin walls. They do request quiet hours after 9pm which is good since one of the neighbors liked to play a lot of music - they followed the house rules and turned it off at 9. Choc was great in making sure we were comfortable. He went above and beyond in helping me find transportation to the monkey temple when I was unable to dive due to an ear infection. Chok also arranged a massage for me at my request and had good restaurant suggestions. The staff was wonderful, preparing and delivering our breakfast every day and keeping our room very clean. They were all very courteous. The location is good, within walking distance to a local snorkeling and diving beach and several good restaurants. There are also a couple of mini-markets within walking distance. Chok offers to let you fill your water bottles from his supply for the price of a donation. As a guest, you have access to an open-air kitchen with hot water pot and a refrigerator for a few items. He was also able to provide us with some beach tiles for our stay, although sometimes these items may be unavailable. The large bed was comfortable and we did use the romantic mosquito netting when we saw a couple come through our door. The bathroom with no roof was beautiful with all the natural stone, wood, and plantings. We used Chok's driver to deliver us from Sanur to Pemutaren, and then from Pemutaren to Tulamben.

Some mosquitos due to the nature of the place. Wifi is limited so we mainly used our data plan.

The room was nice but basic and well worth the price. A bit noisy in the mornings but that's probably true of all the places to stay in the area.
