Our family booked lunch (eleven of us) at the Great House to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday and my wife and I decided to stay overnight. Without exception, the staff at the hotel were delightful. Service in the restaurant was prompt - the waitresses friendly and attentive to all of our needs, including taking photos for us. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Hotel reception staff were excellent on arrival and checkout. Our room was clean and comfortable as one would expect. However, I do feel the in-room drinks and snacks were over-priced and the room-service menu somewhat limited in scope as well as being pricey. That said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel for its location and quality of service.

Not impressed with the on site restaurant. Food only average for the cost and really poor staff….was hoping for better experience
