Pillars House

My daughter and I had a great stay. Checking in was seamless and local information was provided. The room was perfect and a fan was provided. The food for breakfast offered choices. The location is perfect for access to the tram and buses. Strongly recommend staying here!

Great location if you want to be on the quiet outskirts of the hustle. The tram drops you within sight of the front door, so it's super easy to get to Edinburgh proper via public transport. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance - however the posted hours are more suggestions than actual hours. Some didn't open when expected. Some were closed before posted closing times. If you are a night owl, you'd best eat early, hit the market for late night munchies or be prepared to walk to Storries Bakery (which I'd suggest anyway because it was great - try their steak pie YUM). Our room was right on the tram line so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs & an eye mask. Attendants were very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted warmly; the room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen had great amenities!

We had a lovely stay at Pillars House! The service was excellent, and Anthony was very kind and helpful. We really appreciated his flexibility with the early check-in. Everything was great, and we were very happy with our experience. Highly recommended! 😊
