The reception area was small and unattended. After a small wait - someone came in and the process took a while to book in. The hotel was grotty, stairs cracked, walls and floors dirty and the room had stains on the floor and the toilet was manky. Paid for breakfast but didnt bother having it

The hotel was opposite Lens train station so ideal for the RWC trip we had. The hotel didnt open after lunch until 2pm... on the details it said 1.30pm & on the door of the hotel 1pm. The lady was very welcoming once she arrived though. Very basic room & the bed wasn't very comfortable.... our sons single bed was comfy.p

Travelled for work and booked 2 rooms - #1 the towels were moist/ wet and resting on the end of the bed. Guy at reception wasn't bothered. #2 smelled damp with mould in the bathroom. Both had unclean bedsheets, looked very grubby, curtains wouldn't fully close and not even a coffee in the morning.

The hotel staff where nice and helpful but, I there was a bit of a language barrier. The room had been recently redone. There was nowhere to hang anything, not even a coat-hook by the door. there was a musty smell in the room as well.

The door keypad is broken so a phone number for the night receptionist was provided, but they did not respond to repeated calls so I was locked out of the hotel at 1am! I had to spend half an hour finding another hotel. I left my details to discuss a refund but the hotel management did not contact me or return email. In addition, the room was dingy, the corridor smelled strongly of weed, sound travels very easily and the receptionists do not speak any English. Probably not a bad place to take a call girl. Otherwise atrocious.
