    Rooms were great and spotless, larger bathroom then we were expecting, that was a nice touch after a day of sightseeing. Staff were consistently attentive and helpful, fantastic English! A solid choice for anyone wanting comfort and a great base in Kyoto.

    While the building looked a bit understated from the outside, the hotel was perfect — easy to get to, in a good enough spot that walking around Kyoto was possible without much hassle; the lobby and common areas were clean and bright; the room was extremely comfortable and squeaky clean as well. I regretted only staying for one night, and fully plan to book this hotel again on my next Kyoto visit!
