Pluses: historic, rustic charm; great location only blocks from Zocalo; friendly, responsive staff; delicious & full onsite breakfast; Netflix included in room Minuses: dirty floors; mold around shower drain; no water in room one morning, but quickly fixed; no heat, so woke up to some chilly mornings

Very close to the Zocalo, noisy street during the day (we were on the front) but quiet at niight. No hot water ever. Toilet sometimes didn't flush properly. The coded safe didn't function but the staff provided a key to make it work. Interesting old furniture gave it some character, but definitely had seen better days.
