    The location is very good, but if you want a comfortable place to stay, the rooms are too crowded. We chose a room that was 26m2 in its description, but it is generally a little bit big than the 16m2 room that we had in ibis. The room is barely to open two big luggage. The staff and cleaning crew are good enough. And the breakfast is good.

    We booked this for our daughter, who was meeting us in Sydney after our cruise. It was such a lovely way to spend the weekend together, relax, catch up, and make some special memories before heading back to the islands.

    We booked this room as a stopover before joining Carnival Splendor. The location was really convenient, with shops and the train station within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and just perfect for two. It was a great option for a short stay and made getting around really easy.

    Unfortunately, our stay at Rydges Sydney Central was really disappointing. We had originally booked and paid for a Premium King room. After contacting the hotel ahead of our stay to request a cot for our baby, we were told we would need to downgrade to a Queen room to accommodate this. We agreed, however there was no refund or adjustment for the difference in room type. We were then advised that the Queen room was no longer available and that a cot could not be provided, despite this being the entire reason we had agreed to change rooms in the first place. The room we ultimately stayed in was significantly smaller than the Premium King room we had originally booked and paid for. We also found the staff quite rude and unhelpful when trying to resolve the situation, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. The biggest issue during our stay was the noise. Despite being on the 15th floor, we could hear loud music every night until around 11pm. Travelling with a baby, this made it incredibly difficult to settle her and properly relax in the room in the evenings. For the price we paid and the standard we expected from Rydges, the experience fell well below expectations. We left feeling that we had paid for a higher-category room, received a significantly inferior room, and had very little assistance from the hotel in resolving the issues.
