Hotel Holland House Old Town

Located on the pedestrian part of beautiful main town Gdansk, Hotel Holland has everything that Gdansk has to offer on its doorstep. The room was spotless and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Only thing to note, it’s an older hotel and all floors and stairway have wooden floors so sound can travel. If you are sensitive to noise then it might be worth taking earplugs. The staff are friendly and the food (we only had breakfast here) is freshly made and good value for money. We’d love to come back to visit the wonderful Gdansk again.

Amazing

We spent an enjoyable 5 days here. It is very central and very convienient for much Gdansk has to offer. It is on the central street/square which means it's busy outside until early morning. However the double glazing is vevy efficient. It has a lift ( round the corner by the stairs as you come in), but some floors still have about 6 steps up and down. All the reception staff were helpful and the desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Taxis will drop you about 100 meters from the hotel as they are not allowed onto the pedestrian street its located on. The room was large and comfortable with single beds that can be moved together. The rooms had a safe and a small minibar fridge. The T8 FREE bus goes from nearby to and from the main station. There is a seperate resturant under the hotel and another 100 within a couple of hundred meters! There is kettle and tea/coffee in the room and the ( optional) daily housekeeping was very good.
