Hotel Holland House Old Town

Lovely hotel and in a great location

One or two of the staff were unhelpful, first was the girl on the reception. She was unhelpfully and sometimes a bit rude. On our first day we went down for breakfast and when asked where it was to be served she just pointed and said there, and when asked about a street we needed to find near the hotel for taxi pickup she said" I don't know they're are to many streets. She didn't even look at the street name! The second staff member was in the hotel bar, there were 5 in our party and we wanted to have a drink in the hotel bar, we were told we could sit in the bar and if we wanted a drink we could have a take out!

Beautiful building. Wonderful staff. And excellent location in the middle of the old town roads We were delayed very late into the night (around 5 in the morning) and the checkin had open even when we arrived that late in the night.

Honestly dont think i can criticize much as we slept maybe 2 hours and had to leave immediately, but id say that it could use an AC or a fan to cool the room as it was very hot that night

The location is great and the staff are very nice. We were unfortunate enough to catch a heat wave and being an historical building there is no AC, but the rooms have a fan which helped. The breakfast options were not a lot, but the things they had were very tasty.

The coffee options could be improved for a 4* hotel

Very comfortable bed,in a good position in the city,bathroom was spacious.3 chairs in the room so could sit other than the bed.

Curtains covering the radiator so restricting the heat,smell of bathroom in the evening ,2nd day breakfast in the restaurant as only 1 glass of juice and 1 coffee was included.
