I highly recommend the Hotel Astotia for everyone, it was great location, clean and very friendly staffs, We was stay in three nights, definitely will coming back when ever in Genova, we really enjoyed the small town so beautiful, and they had great breakfast if you decide to add 15 € per person.

Power went out while there. Room to which I was assigned was unbelievably UNDER CONSTRUCTION so I demanded I be moved and relocated to another room! Shouldn’t have happened in the first place!

Great location near Brignole Station with access to portofino. Santa margarete and cinque terre. Not much around the hotel but 5 min walk are reasonably priced restaurants. Genova centre is 10-15 mins walk away and September 20 Avenue is less than 10 mins walk where all the main shops are located.

Everything was really fine. The welcome, the tips and advice, tasteful furnishings, good location and the possibility to park directly in front of the house. The only minor criticism is that the shower is too small, with every movement you bump into the lever mixer and change the water temperature.

An amazing hotel with excellent and helpful staff. Loved the old lift and rooms were done up to an very fresh condition. If I visit Genova again will definitely stay here. Great location if you want to continue towards the south as there is a train station nearby.

Our stay at Hotel Astoria was a very pleasant experience. One of the most notable features is the antique lift. It's a really charming and beautiful piece of history that adds to the hotel's unique feel. However, it's worth noting that it can be quite time-consuming, and we found it wasn't the most practical option when we were trying to get our luggage up and down. Despite that small point, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others looking for a hotel with personality.

Beautiful hotel with easy access to the train station in nice safe neighborhood. Picture is of their 100+ yr old lift. That was gorgeous. Also free expressos, breakfast and cappuccinos in the lobby. Would stay here again

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, it was a short walking distance (5-10 min) from both the train station we frequently used & the main piazza with shopping and dining areas. I would stay here again for my next trip to Genova. They also provided free bottled water both still and sparkling to us for our entire stay which was very much appreciated in the middle of July.

Easy walking to some of the best restaurants in Genoa. The hotel was grand and well-maintained. The elevator was an antique but very cool to use. We felt like celebrities at this hotel! They included free drinks and mini bar beverages. We arrived by train and the station was a 10-minute walk to the hotel. When we left, we took a taxi from the hotel to the airport, which was a flat 25 euros. The aquarium and the old town were a 10-15 minute walk. We also took the 40-minute shuttle from the city bus station to the Serravalle outlets (the best outlets in Europe) to get deals on designer clothes. The person cleaning our floor was amazing. Our room was immaculate every day, and they always greeted us in the hallways. I think it was room 301 or 302. It was huge with an amazing shower and luxurious products to use. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for making our trip amazing! .

Breakfast selection is slightly limited but the quality is very high and the coffee is excellent. Good light and sound proofing. Decent size single room. Free bottled water and soft drinks. Nice toiletries. Its a few minutes walk from Brignole station and so has very good public transport links. lots of places to eat within a few minutes walk. Overall this is an excellent hotel and I would be delighted to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel. When i initially exited the train and was walking to the hotel, i wasnt sure what to expect but it was the perfect little oasis inside this metropolitan area. The staff was very professional and attentive. The hotel was charming. The room was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable and the room smelled like there was jo malone room fragrance was pumping through the air. It was so delightful. I really enjoyed my stay here and of course would stay at this hotel again if I'm in this area. It's about 7 to 10 minutes walk from the train station so it was perfect for day trips to cinqua terre and portofino. I unfortunately didnt get the breakfast addition because I booked through expedia, but it didnt matter. There were enough little cafes around for me to grab something. The lady host at the reception area was graceful enough to give me a map wth all the important areas marked out. I enjoyed everything about my stay here and truly recommend it to everyone.

Looked like a 5* property. Excellent location in the city - able to walk to pretty much anywhere. Only negative is that our lovely room didn't have a shower, only a bath. Cost of parking in the nearby car parks could be made clearer. Would have been good to know that one car park was €30 a day and the other €18
