Kings Cross Inn Hotel

This is a centrally located hotel which is directly opposite King's Cross St Pancras station allowing accessibility to various lines of the tube that intersect here as well as access to the national rail and eurostar. The location offers many eating options including, cafes, pubs, fast food and restaurants serving asian food, italian food etc. The only thing to take note is the hotel is not really wheelchair friendly. This is because although there is a lift in the hotel , you will have to still climb down to use the lift and up thereafter depending on which room you have been allocated.

On our 1st 4 days in London, we stayed in another very inferior hotel although the room prices were just almost the same. We arrived in the middle of the heatwave. It was very incovenient in our 1st hotel room bec. there was no aircon, ventilation was poor, room & hallway spaces were so cramped. It was such a great relief when we transferred to your inn/hotel. Aside from having new & very cool aircondition, your room & toilet are so much spacious & cleaner. The linens & towels are clean, big & changed everyday. Although i think it's not necessary to change it everyday bec. it's not also very environment friendly. Toiletries are complete & always replenished. A kettle, cups, glasses, coffee, milk & tea were provided. Even though the hallway is not that wide & there was a tiny few steps in the corridor going to the elevator, it was just fine, tolerable & not that inconvenient. The only drawbacks were the other half of the cabinet cover in the toilet was missing or probably wasn't installed yet plus there was no mirror in the dresser in the bedroom. In my pov, it would also be useful if there's a "no disturb sign" that the guest can hang in the door. It would also be better if guests will be advised or if there are signs that repair are still ongoing (i.e. cabinet doors are still missing in the common toilet & no tissue holders yet). In another positive note, the hotel staff are very friendly, accomodating & can communicate well. The luggage storage is so useful & of big help to us when we had to check out earlier but still had to wait for our train to depart. The location of the inn is also superb & strategically located just across the St. Pancras Local & International Stations. Although I read in some reviews about the occasional noises of the train being heard in the inn; we didn't hear any such sound in our entire stay. Just steps away are numerous & various restaurants, cafes convenient stores & mini groceries. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our hotel accomodation. Great location….

Good location . Just opposite train station which made it convenient . The room was in the basement , it was for four people . The AC worked but the entire room had a musty smell . I would limit to short stay or you may choose a room above ground . I guess if you are going out all day and just coming back to crash and then head out from st pancras it’s not too bad . The convenience may be worth it . Wifi signal seems fine when we were there . We didn’t head out till late but do be aware the area can be dodgy at night .
