We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed in the chateau during our visit to Loire. Magical place. The service was great. Very romantic surrounding. Highly recommend for weddings or couple romantic trip. Keep in mind, you will need to rent a car because in Loire you need to travel serious distances between chateaux.

Very nice hotel. Great service. The rooms were excellent and the area around the property is very beautiful. I quiet place to get away. The food was excellent at the restaurant and I would highly recommend it for breakfast and dinner.

This hotel is a little like a fairy tale location. The room was rustic with large wooden beams and smelled delicious. The dinner we had was amazing. The people at the hotel are wonderful. The only drawback I can say is that there was no central air conditioning yet. They did have a small standing AC unit and a fan in the room. I was at the hotel in September and it was warm.

A fantastic experience in a hotel that is located in a remote locations. The food and services are outstanding and the staff is very friendly to accommodate the guests. We stayed two nights. The position is lovely, sweeping lawns imposing chateau. They has obviously spent considerably on doing the place up. We ate at the hotel the first night and had an appalling meal - nice menu but extremely poorly executed. We ate out the second night! Wouldn't go back.

I don't understand why this is not a 5 star hotel. There is only 18 rooms and you feel that you have the whole castle to yourself. The food is excellent, the staff is amazing, the place is so relaxing and there is a story from ww2 that happened there. Best hotel I stayed in France, better than some 5 stars hotels.

We got a reduced rate online. This made the experience value for money. We arrived to discover we were the only people staying at the hotel. It was newly opened, and apparently does get guests at the weekends. It was very plush. But as an experience it was very odd - a cross between the Shining and something very pleasant. (There are no axe murderers or ghosts) The food was ok. A bit overpriced for the quality.
