Friendly hosts, nice breakfast and big rooms

Everything was lovely. It would have been helpful to have information written down in English. The host was lovely but chatted very quickly to us in French and we could only grasp some of the information. We appreciate we should try to speak the language but difficult if not taught it at school. We visited when there was a heat wave and only one fan in the room so quite uncomfortable at night.

Lovely welcoming clean & comfortable. The host was excellent & accommodating. Beautiful pool & breakfast - would definitely stay there again.

A very peaceful and attractive location, just 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre. We were warmly welcomed, provided with secure storage for our bicycles and shown where everything was, and how it worked. We didn’t try the pool, but it looked lovely. The shower was good, & the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the coffee was excellent. We’d happily stay again.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable throughout. Nice quiet tranquil area of Montbazon. The owner was hospitable although had no English and I had no French so had to use Google translate to communicate which was fine.

Upon arriving I placed my bags on the bed and the owner practically told me off as apparently bed bugs appear when beds have bags on them so I had to put them elsewhere. I was told I couldn't eat in the room so had to sit outside while I had a snack. I felt like I was treated like a child and couldn't be trusted not to make a mess. Breakfast was disappointing; sugared pastries and chocolate cookies with a fruit bowl was the offering. If you want to enhance your chance of diabetes then it's great, however I need proper food in the morning so I left in search of a cooked breakfast elsewhere.
