Good for a one night stay

Room was comfortable, receptionist helpful and welcoming.

The hotel looked as though it was shut when we arrived, because it was poorly lit. We had difficulty finding it; our sat nav could not locate it although it could locate the avenue. We think that this is because the address which we had from Booking.com was ‘Brit Essential Hotel’ and the name on the hotel was Brit Hotel. We only found the hotel because we asked someone.

Great for a stopover

Perfect for a stopover en route. Convenient location, handy fuel. Good easy safe parking, very easy and convenient check-in, nice staff with out of ours auto check-in allowing late arrival. Good size room, shower. Big comfy bed. Clean. Handy carwash next door. Lots of food outlets nearby with facilities in the hotel for drinks, snacks, breakfast. Very good price.

Not necessarily a negative, but busy traffic locally.

No fresh baguette. Poor qualify meats. Didn’t consider it value for money. Very tired hotel, in need of refurbishment. Sad because we use Balladins a lot.

Just what I needed, great value for money.

I booked this place last minute as I had travelled a long way and was trying to get as fr as I could before stopping for the night. It was just what I needed, no frills, no staff, just a machine at the door at which to pay amnd collect your key to a simple but clean, warm and comfortable room. I slept soundly. Would definitely use again.

We stoped here on our trip to Spain after a 10 hour drive. Hotel is really easy to find, staff was friendly. Lots of parking available. A nice and clean baby bed was already in our room for free. Breakfast was also really good. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small, but for a short stay totally fine. I would not stay a week, but recommend it for stays up to a long weekend.
