Having prevously stayed in two modern hotels on our tour, the Dromhall is older, more traditional and rather grand. It is a short walk to and from the town centre and parking was ample, but at times of the day only just sufficient for those staying or visiting. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the inclusive breakfast, part buffet part served, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and quiet, our only concern being that although it was merely warm weather the room was rather stuffy as the windows can only be opened a little bit. A fan in the room mitigated this to some extent. My wife finds stairs difficult now so we were reliant on the lift. Note singular and our only complaint about the Dromhall is that it was small and the slowest lift we have ever known. Lift capacity at the hotel appeared to be strained when busy, especially as house keeping also have to use it for their trolleys.

We were looking at several hotels and two of the criteria were a king bed and A/C. Not sure how we missed those but both were lacking in this hotel. It did get stuffy and we would have slept with a bigger bed and A/C. But, the hotel is very nice, service was excellent and in a great location.

Concierge was very helpful with storing my bag before checking in and providing information about seeing the sights of interest and options to get around. She addressed me by name when I returned from my adventures to check in. The hotel bar was even a decent dinner option. The bed was absolutely luxurious. Close to the city but not right in the midst of the noise.

The lady at the front desk who checked us in, Jacinta, was wonderful! The room and hotel were beautiful, I loved the decor. We utilized the laundry services and it went well. We also had some dessert from the restaurant that was really good after a long, cold and wet day! The room was very comfortable and the decor was beautiful. The view from the room was amazing. I loved having the tea set up at the end of hiking days to help relax. The hotel was also very walkable to all kinds of restaurants. The only fault we found with the hotel was that the walls are very thin and our neighbors woke us up before dawn by just getting up and ready themselves to leave. I would definitely stay in this hotel again without hesitation.

Room was not as described on Expedia. Had to purchase another room upon arrival. There is no room with king and double bed. Room has no fridge or body lotion (not even when upon request). Front desk was great! She provided excellent information and even helped with tips for the next day when we were leaving.

Nice hotel within walking distance to the downtown area. Unfortunately, we came on the weekend of an automobile event and there were cars revving their engines late into the night. I imagine it’s much quieter on a normal weekend. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night. Parking was easy, and close to hotel front door. Area is about a 10min walk to city center, lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There is also a lot of gas stations in this area to grab snacks or drinks from. The property is beautiful, very classic and upscale. Room was spacious and comfortable. Our interactions with staff were all pleasant. We did not eat here but they have a large restaurant on site

I enjoyed the stay here from the moment I walked in the front door. The hotel was spotless, neat and clean. It was bigger than I thought but there was no loss of personal attention as a result. The fixtures and décor was quite upmarket and well maintained. The room was well equipped and large, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with nice amenities and a strong pressure shower with nice cold water to finish off with. The breakfast had a very good selection and was cooked to order and so it was served nice and hot. It was about a 6 minute walk into the centre of Killarney, very near. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and would have no hesitation staying here again.

We stayed at the Dromhall Hotel for two nights while traveling in Ireland and exploring Killarney. The onsite parking was convenient and town was just a short walk away. We ate at The Taproom right down the street - fantastic pizza. We eloped while in Killarney and the hotel greeted us with champagne upon our return, took a few photos for us, and left a treat for the room! It was completely unexpected and such a nice touch on their part. They have wonderful staff who go above and beyond for their guests! Highly recommend a stay here!

My husband and I are on a road trip in Ireland and stayed at this hotel. We arrived a little earlier than expected and were able to check in about a hour and a half early as our room was ready which was wonderful. The room was very clean and they tidied it up daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the town of Killarney. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening and it was very good. They had a refillable water station at the entry of the hotel which was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning a stay in Killarney!
