Honestly you can't fault this hotel for the price. Location is perfect if you want that side of Paris, next to the metro. I had a warm welcome at Reception. I only gave 3 stars for Facilities because I would have loved to make myself a cup of tea in my room but that is all I can fault it!

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Pavillon Nation in Paris. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. It’s just a short walk from four metro stations: Nation – Lines 1, 2, 6, 9 and RER A Avron – Line 2 Buzenval – Line 9 Picpus – Line 6 There is also an Aldi supermarket nearby, which is great for quick snacks and essentials. I arrived a few hours earlier than the official check-in time, and the person at reception kindly gave me my room key early at no extra charge, which I really appreciated. The room itself was very clean and had everything I needed, including a safe, hairdryer, shampoo, and conditioner. The room is a bit small, but for one person it was perfectly fine and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that there are a few fairly high steps at the entrance. If you have heavy luggage, it might be a bit challenging to lift it up. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

I had a very concerning experience during my stay at Pavillon Nation. I stayed from 3rd April to 5th April 2026 in Room 205. On 4th April, I left my room in the morning and briefly returned before leaving again until night. During this period, USD 800 was taken from inside my locked bag, which had been secured with a combination lock. There was no sign of forced entry. The room safe was not working during my stay, leaving no secure option for valuables. The hotel also uses physical keys and there is no CCTV coverage on the guest floors, which raises serious concerns about room access and overall security. I have reported the matter to the French police, and an official report has been issued. I would strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious with valuables and not rely on luggage locks or room security.
