    The staff was nice and we could store our luggage for free. Location is really accesible to the metro. Our room was tidied daily. We reccomend!

    The room was on the smaller side as I couldn't open the door fully without hitting the end of the bed. The shower area was very tight and at 6ft 2" I couldn't stand straight onto the water as my shoulders would touch the wall and shower screen. I was next to the lift but the noise wasn't noticeable. The recall button for the lift on level 3 would work intermittently but with a bit of patience it was okay. The location was great with the metro, shops and cafes all close by. I arrived at 0700 and was told I couldn't check in until 1500hrs even though requested an early check in. The staff let me store my bags and have a quick change after a 24hr long haul flight, while I went out exploring. Just a quick 4km walk down to Notre-Dame.

    I had to book a hotel for my stay in Paris only one night before my trip so I had very few options that fit my budget and didn't seem horrible. This hotel was one of them. Overall, I got what I expected except the cleanliness; it was not as clean as I wanted, possibly because the hotel is old. Staff: Friendly and always available to help. Location: Very close to a big metro station that is well-connected. There are also multiple bus stops around. In front of the hotel is a supermarket and multiple patisseries which was highly convenient. Though I wouldn't give the location 5/5 only because it took around 20 minutes minimum in the metro to reach the main attractions. Still, great location. Cleanliness: The room seemed very clean and I had no concerns about the bed, which is the most important thing in my opinion. The room always smelled fresh and I was satisfied with it. The issue was with the bathroom. The shower floor had multiple dents and stains, giving the illusion that it was dirty. As I tried to clean the stains myself and failed, I can confirm that the stains were due to wear and tear rather than dirtiness, but it wasn't a pleasant sight. There were stains elsewhere in the toilet that overall made me question the high rating this hotel has for cleanliness. I understand that it is an old hotel, but somethings should get fixed. To conclude, this is a budget hotel that does the job if you are looking for something that doesn't break the bank but also has a convenient location and is clean enough. Is it worth the money? I wouldn't know since I booked one night before my trip and still had to pay a good amount for a hotel this level. Maybe don't be like me and plan better.
